Lesson Payments Overview

30-minute one-to-one lessons, booked in monthly blocks to secure a regular lesson time.

Weekly: £30 per lesson
Bi-weekly: £35 per lesson

Payment for the following month is due halfway through the current month and can be made by cash or bank transfer.

Block payments are non-refundable. Missed lessons are forfeited. Lessons are only rescheduled in exceptional circumstances, at the tutor’s discretion.

Effective from 2026

From 1 January 2026, all new lesson bookings move to a monthly block booking system.

Existing students are not affected and may remain on their current pricing and payment arrangement.

How Block Booking Works

  1. A regular lesson day and time is agreed (Priority for weekly lessons over bi-weekly)

  2. Lessons are counted for that month

  3. Payment is made upfront, halfway through the current month

  4. Your lesson slot is secured

Example:
Monday lessons × 4 weeks = £120

Attendance & Cancellations

  • Block payments are non-refundable

  • Missed lessons are forfeited

  • Rescheduling is only possible at the tutor's discretion and their availability (Mon-Fri)

  • Tutor-cancelled lessons are rescheduled or credited

Payment Methods

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

Payment must be made by the stated due date to secure the next month’s lessons.

Trial Lessons

All new students begin with an initial trial period, which may consist of one or multiple lessons, depending on what the tutor feels is most appropriate.

Any decision regarding the length of the trial period is made at the tutor’s discretion, with consideration given to both the student’s learning needs and the parent’s financial commitment, before moving forward with regular block bookings.

Existing Students

Existing students may remain on their current pricing and payment arrangement.

If two payment reminders are required within five weeks, lessons will be scheduled as block bookings going forward.

Important additional Lesson Information

At this time, lessons are structured around a standard teaching approach and setting. As such, we are unfortunately unable to offer lessons for students who require specialist educational or learning support, including those with additional learning needs or disabilities.

This decision is made with care and respect, as we believe students with additional needs are best supported by tutors and programmes specifically trained in those areas.

If you’re unsure whether lessons would be appropriate, you’re very welcome to contact us before booking to talk things through.
