  • What types of lessons do you offer?

    We offer one-to-one guitar and drum lessons for students aged 7 and up. Lessons are tailored to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

  • Who teaches the lessons?

    Guitar lessons are taught by Junior Afrifa, an experienced international touring musician. Drum lessons are led by Corey Hodges, a professional drum tutor.

  • How much do lessons cost?

    Standard Lessons: £25 for 30 minutes 1-1.

    For groups and longer lessons, please get in contact for pricing.

  • Where are lessons held?

    All lessons take place at:

  • What age can children start lessons?

    We recommend starting at age 7, but younger students may be considered based on readiness.

  • What should I bring to my first lesson?

    Guitar students: Bring your guitar (acoustic or electric) and a notebook or phone

    Drum students: All equipment is provided

  • Do I need any experience to start?

    No experience is needed! We welcome complete beginners and will guide you from your very first note.

  • How often are lessons held?

    Most students attend once per week for 30 minutes, which offers consistent progress.

  • Will I need to practice between lessons?

    Yes—short, regular practice (10–15 minutes a day) builds great habits and helps you progress faster.

  • Will I learn to read music?

    For Guitar we focus on practical skills: tablature, rhythm reading, and ear training. Reading notation is taught if it supports your goals. For drums we focus on reading sheet music but also the technical aspects of playing your favourite tunes.

REHEARSAL ROOM 🎤

  • Can I book the rehearsal room?

    Yes! Our fully equipped room is available for bands or solo musicians.

  • What’s included in the room?

    Drum kit (bring snare, cymbals, and kick pedal)

    Guitar & bass amps

    Mixing desk & PA

    Mic stands & cables

  • How much does it cost?

    £40 for 2 hours. (Minimum booking)

    Subscriptions available. Reocurring monthly price.

  • What are the opening times?

    Fridays: 12 pm – 8:30 pm

    Saturdays: 10 am – 3:30 pm

    Please note that if the room is booked from 2-4, the ending time isn’t the time to end the rehearsal, but rather the time to pack up and exit the room.

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, but please note that access is via stairs to the 2nd floor—no lift available.
